Celebrities with Butt Implants: The Good, The Booty, and The Ugly
UpdatedFrom Aphrodite to Kim Kardashian, the buttocks have long played a role in defining female sexuality.
Although backsides come in various shapes and sizes, and what’s attractive to one person may not be to another, one thing is for certain — the bodacious booty is back.
In fact, 2015 was deemed the Year of the Rear by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, with buttock enhancement noted as the fastest growing type of cosmetic surgery.
When women visit us at our practice in San Francisco, it’s not uncommon for them to reference specific celebrities. Some even bring photos to showcase their buttock enhancement goals. Many are inspired by Kim Kardashian’s dramatic, over-the-top derriere, while others prefer the toned, perky booty of celebrities like Jessica Biel.
Learning from Celebrities Who Had Buttock Enhancement
In this blog post, we’ll take a look at celebrities who aren’t defined only by their talents, but also by their luscious, attention-worthy backsides.
The Good: Kim Kardashian
Kim has admitted to getting Botox and regular laser treatments but remains evasive about her relationship with plastic surgery - including her most talked about asset: her signature derriere.
In the past, people have speculated that Kim resorted to butt implants. However, when she shared X-ray results proving that the implant rumors were false, the scrutinizing public turned to the Brazilian Butt Lift to explain her luscious backside.
Also known as buttock fat transfer, the Brazilian Butt Lift makes use of one’s own fat to enhance buttock shape and size.
Why We Think It’s Good
While many would argue Kim’s backside is not aesthetically pleasing (too extreme), it’s a clear example of buttock augmentation done right since it keeps people guessing whether she really underwent surgery. The perfectly round shape, ample projection, and dramatic S-curve of Kim’s derriere are an inspiration to many.
Quick note: Like fashion and style, what is considered an attractive look can be a matter of individual taste. Some women desire dramatic, over-the-top curves, while others desire a more proportional and elegant look.
The Good: Virginia Gallardo
Argentinian model and dancer Virginia Gallardo is very vocal about her butt implant surgery. Virginia is quoted to have undergone buttock reshaping to boost her confidence and be more comfortable with herself.
Why We Think It’s Good
Looking at Virginia’s most recent photos, we agree that her plastic surgeon did a wonderful job. Her full, round, perky, and luscious buttocks, à la Jessica Biel, perfectly complements her stunning figure.
The Bad: Blac Chyna
If one Kardashian did a great job in being coy and a mystique about her attractive backside, another Kardashian (sort of an adopted member) has done the total opposite. Blac Chyna, formerly known as a rap video vixen, and Rob Kardashian’s fiancee, appears to have gotten herself into a butt implant mishap.
Why We Think It’s Bad
Blac Chyna’s deflating implant fiasco is an example of implants gone wrong. Looking at Blac's photos, her implants appear to be drooping, leaving her backside sagging and deformed.
How to Get Great, Natural-Looking Butt Augmentation Results
If booty-enhancing exercises like squats aren't getting you the results you want, you can achieve a beautiful backside through butt augmentation surgery. Here are a few tips to help you navigate the process successfully:
- Learn all about butt augmentation procedures including fat transfer ("Brazilian Butt Lift") and buttock implants. You can find more information from credible sources such as the 77 Plastic Surgery Learning Center and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
- Seek the opinion of an experienced, qualified board certified plastic surgeon. A qualified plastic surgeon should be able to tell you if you're a good candidate for the procedure, what results can be achieved, and what the recovery is like. He or she should also be able to perform the procedure with the utmost skill and standards for safety.
- Be wary of "doctors" using toxic materials such as Fix-A-Flat, rubber cement, and caulk (often called "booty shots."). These injections are extremely dangerous and could result in disfigurement or death.
- Be wary of medical tourism offers promising "affordable" surgery at a relaxing resort. In many instances, the procedures are performed by poorly qualified surgeons working in unsafe facilities operated without proper safety standards.
To achieve optimal buttock augmentation results, you and your surgeon need to be on the same page in terms of desired goals. Realistic buttock enhancement goals begin by filling out this cosmetic self-evaluation. It's free and only takes two minutes to complete.
